Tamil Nadu Fabrics Manufacturers Association Members are expected to adopt the standards of dignity, fairness and integrity. The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to strengthen confidence in the unity and integrity of Association Members.
Association will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those pertaining to the employers – Sourcing of raw Materials, Pricing, Sales, and distribution of merchandise. All reference to applicable laws and regulations in this Code of Conduct include state, central and International codes, rules and regulations as well as applicable treaties and voluntary industry standards.
Abiding by this code is essential for Membership of the Tamil Nadu Fabrics Manufacturers Association (TNFMA).
Members will
- Serve association with loyalty and respect for confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest and activities for personal advantage of their association or their members.
- Serve all members of their associations with impartiality, providing no particular benefits to any member, and accepting no personal compensation from a member without the prior knowledge and approval of their association’s governing board.
- Actively encourage equitable access to opportunities in association membership, Volunteer engagement and development, Meetings, Events and Activities.
- Model and encourage the integration of ethics into all aspects of management of the association which employs the members.
- Employ practices that exemplify ‘Social Responsibility’ at it pertains to both the human and environment conditions.
- Provide accurate information in a timely manner
- Make commitments and promises, implied in good faith
- Listen to others points of view seeking to understand them
- Exhibit professional conduct that is a credit to the Tamil Nadu Fabrics Manufacturers Association (TNFMA), one’s employer and one’s self, and strive to continually advance personal knowledge and achieve higher levels of excellence in one’s profession.
